IS 2062 E350 plates are more resistant to general and local corrosion than conventional grades. It offers resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking in adverse environments. These plates are best for application in chloride and halide containing environments even in hoists temperatures. It offers higher creep strength, tensile strength, and stress to rupture strength. In addition, it has resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
