Steel Plate SS400

It is a type of steel that has a high carbon content. Steel Structure is abbreviated as SS, and 400 denotes a tensile strength of 400 MPa. SS400 is a hot rolled steel grade belonging to the JIS G 3101 standard. SS400 Plates are designed with a superior concentration of ferrous material with small constituents of silicon, carbon, sulfur, and phosphorous. The SS400 steel plate exhibits moderate strength and hardness while showing enhanced resistance to reduction by acids.
